A pair of Worcester (Kerr & Binns) flask-shaped portrait vases and domed covers
painted with portraits of Francesco I Grand Duke 1540-1587 and Bianca-Cappello 1578 within two-tone gilt roundels decorated with a vermicular pattern, titled and dated below raised gilt scrolls and painted with jewels within seeded panels, the rims with similar ornament, each reverse painted with a crest, applied with satyr-mask-handles, indistinct marks -- 7in. (17.8cm.) high, circa 1862 (one cover reduced, small chip to one rim, slight wear)
