Château Haut-Brion, Blanc--Vintage 1982
Pessac (Graves), cru classé
Levels: 2cm or better
"First tasted in May 1983. An impressive, powerful wine though clearly needing considerable bottle ageing. A 'wonderful mouthful' in 1990, 'will develop further'. Indeed after nearly ten more years, though still fairly pale, a magnificent bouquet, fragrant, nutty, opening up in the glass like a great Montrachet, pineapple, vanilla, peaches. Medium dry - certainly not dry, with delicious flavour and length. Last noted at a pre-sale tasting in London, Jan 1999 ****(*)." MB, Vintage Wine
