These wines were either: inherited, purchased upon release or carefully acquired through private sale. We hope to include more gems from this fantastic time-capsule cellar in the coming months.
Removed from a dark, temperature and humidity controlled home cellar by Christie's specialists.

Level: upper/mid shoulder; bin soiled label, slightly corroded and cut capsule
"Most recently, recorked in 1966 and drinking well: an amazingly deep colour: excellent, spicy, cedar nose, with a coffee. Good fruit and flavour, though drying out a bit. Last tasted, coping well with 'Abergavenny Rarebit' at the 50th anniversary dinner of the Bordeaux Club, at Christie's, Feb 1999. At best *****" MB, Vintage Wine
