Brush drawing on cream paper, very finely drawn with stippled surface, a mother plays with two smaller cubs amidst a ground of Chinoiserie rocks and shrubs, mounted on a later Iranian album page, with frame of panels of nasta'liq, the dark blue border painted with designs of wild animals against spiralling foliage, with cream margins, the edges slightly damaged
Miniature 3 7/8 x 2¼in. (9.6 x 5.8cm.); folio 13¼ x 9in. (33.7 x 23cm.)
