No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VA… Read more THE PROPERTY OF A EUROPEAN COLLECTOR A collection of seven lots by Hugo Vilfred Pedersen (1870-1959) Hugo Vilfred Pedersen was born in Copenhagen and spent twelve years travelling in Asia. Pedersen is said to have been present at the Delhi Durbar of 1903 where he painted a portrait of the Viceroy Lord Curzon. Pedersen painted a number of subjects in India, Indonesia and Japan. The collection on the following five pages is a good representation of the diversity of subject matter he encountered on his travels
