Set with a cushion-cut color change sapphire, weighing approximately 76.11 carats, within an openwork pierced pavé-set plaque of geometric design, mounted in platinum-topped gold

With report 0012359 dated 27 December 2000 from the Gübelin Gem Lab stating that Gemmological testing revealed characteristics consistent with those of sapphires originating from Sri Lanka (Ceylon). No indications of thermal enhancement (NTE); accompanied by an appendix stating that the natural sapphire of 76.11 ct possesses an exceptional size and weight, as well as a pleasant color. This unique gemstone exhibits a distinct colour change under different types of illumination. Natural colour, Sri Lankan sapphires of this size and quality, and possessing such a combination of characteristics, are very rare.
