A Komai style cabinet, late 19th Century
the two doors opening to reveal four layers of fitted drawers, above a further set of two drawers and a pierced heart-shaped stand set on flaring supports, worked in gold, silver and copper nunomezogan with scenes of ho-o, cranes, figures running in the rain, jumping fish, pagodas and temples set in a river landscape, birds, butterflies and scrolling foliage, applied gilt decorated sealmark - 7¼in. (18.3cm.) high.
