A fully rigged model of an early 18th century Dutch three masted 40-gun armed East Indiaman

A detailed wooden timber-model, with wooden nails, bound masts, yards, standing and running rigging, booms, foot ropes and full suit of rolled linen sails, the rigging with sheaves, pewter anchors with wooden stocks, the main and upper deck with open gun ports and black-painted and giltwood guns in carriages. The polychrome and parcel-gilt carved stern with open windows surrounded by small figures and with a central coat-of-arms flanked to either side by a standing lion. The conforming hull with a carved lion-shaped figurehead. The underside of the hull finished with a white-painted wave-motif. On a later wooden stand.
