The painted plywood figure of a black cat with white facial outlines, white paws and tail tip, standing on one hindleg holding galena crystal in left hand, eight metal cat's whiskers contacting for the detector, moving right hand, tail movement for tuning control, on rectangular base with A,E and Phone terminals and Radio Rastus plaque on the front, Australian, 1926, with a pair of 2000 ohm continental headphones with cream-tone braid; and a facsimile copy of an advertisement of this set in Radio Trader, October 14 1926 -11½in.
