NEW KINGDOM-PTOLEMAIC PERIOD, 2ND-1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
Including three turquoise Sons of Horus amulets with black glazed 'net' decoration, two of Imsety and one of Duamutef (lower part missing), 3 3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) high max.; another figure of Imsety, pale turquoise, holding long folded cloth, 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) high; two flat Egyptian 'blue' funerary scarabs, with holes for attachment, 3 in. (7.5 cm.) high max.; three scarab wings with holes for attachment, 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) long max.; a bright blue djed-pillar, New Kingdom, 1 5/8 in. (4 cm.) high max.; a red glazed wedjat-eye, ¾ in. (2 cm.) long; and a fragmentary wax jackal-headed amulet, 2¼ in. (5.6 cm.) high(a lot)
Provenance
Acquired by the present owner's great uncle in Egypt prior to 1953.
