SIX GRAECO-EGYPTIAN TERRACOTTA HEADS
CIRCA 2ND-1ST CENTURY B.C.
Comprising a head of Isis-Demeter wearing elaborate headdress with kalathos above, remains of stucco, 3 in. (7.5 cm.) high; a similar head of a young boy, Harpocrates(?), with large foliate wreath, remains of stucco, 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) high; a female head, her hair centrally parted, 3 in. (7.5 cm.) high; another with hair swept back in a high chignon, 1½ in. (4 cm.) high, all mounted; another head of a youth (Harpocrates?), wearing thick foliate wreath; a similar female head wearing wreath, her hair in ringlets, both 2½ in. (6.3 cm.) high; and a female head wearing sakkos, mounted, 2 in. (5 cm.) high (7)
