A LARGE GROUP OF POTTERY AND BRONZE VESSELS

Including a Hellenistic bronze saucepan with interior bowl and lid, second half of 1st Century B.C., 11¾ in. (30 cm.) long; a group of Apulian Gnathia ware vessels including a lekythos with the figure of an acrobat standing on hands between upturned swords, flanked by foliate tendrils, ovolo decoration above and below, details in added purple and white, 7 1/8 in. (18.1 cm.) high; an askos, similar, with ornate decorative bands and foliate trails, 7 in. (17.8 cm.) high; five Apulian choes and a lekythos, each decorated with profile female heads, 4½ in. (11.4 cm.) high max.; and a Xenon ware miniature kylix with figure of an owl on either side between laurel branches, details in added pink, 4¾ in. (12 cm.) diam., all 4th Century B.C.(a lot)
