1. Marchese Morando, perhaps a member of the noble Bolognese Bevilacqua family (see lot 21).
2. Lady Elizabeth Foster (1759-1824), for many years the mistress of the 5th Duke of Devonshire and following the death of his first wife in 1809, the famous Georgiana (1757-1806), she married him. She had turned down a proposal from Gibbon.
3. Lady Anne Jane Gore (d.1827), daughter of the 2nd Earl of Arran, she married (1) Henry Hatton of Clonard; and (2) in 1800, the 1st Marquess of Abercorn (1756-1818).
4. Miss Gascoyne, probably Frances Mary (d.1839), the daughter of Bamber Gascoyne. She was a great heiress and, in 1821, she married the 2nd Marquess of Salisbury (1791-1868) whose family name became Gascoyne-Cecil as a result.
5. John Carr (b.1764), a JP and elder brother of Harriet Cheney. In 1802, he married Hannah Ellison.
6. Lady Emma Hamilton (1761-1815), the wife of Sir William Hamilton and mistress of Lord Nelson.
7. Lady Caroline Letitia Monck (c.1813-1890), 7th daughter of the Earl of Rathdowne.
8. Lady Anne, Countess of Charlemont (d.1876), daughter of William Bermingham, Ross Hill. Galway. In 1802, she married the 2nd Earl of Charlemont (1775-1863). On his Grand Tour the 1st Earl had set up an Academy in Rome, which included Reynolds, this later inspired him to found the Royal Academy in London.
9. Mrs Ralph Carr, married Ralph, Yr. (Harriet Cheney's father) in London in 1793. Their younger son, a barrister (b.1768) married Caroline Gregg in 1793.
10. Captain Machell, perhaps the elder brother of Major Christopher Machell, friend and patron of Francis Nicholson. The family seat was Crackenthorpe, Westmorland.
11. Colonel Charles Thomas, the first husband of Lady Lyndhurst.
