Lot Essay

Palazzo Cenci-Bolognetti was built in 1737 by the Italian architect Ferdinano Fuga (1699-1781). The Palace is built on an area known as Monte Cenci which is a small artificial hill derived from the buried ruins of an ancient amphitheatre. These days, the Palazzo Cenci-Bolognetti is significant for being the headquarters of the Christian Democratic party.
