Lot Essay

Surrounded by trees and classical urns, we see the rust-coloured ironstone portico of Eydon Hall. The house was built in 1788, by the architect James Lewis for the Reverend Francis Annesley, whose son, Cecil, was a friend of the Cheney family. Eydon Hall is now a Grade I listed building.
