A rare Javanese gold figure of Avalokiteshvara

Standing in samabhanga on a separate moulded lotus base, his principle hands in varadamudra and holding lotus, both upper ones with rosary and manuscript, wearing dhoti secured by a band, upavita, his face with serene expression, tiara in front of a high chignon and set with a miniature figure of Amitabha and an oval looped head halo behind, traces of green patina
