THE MOVEMENT SIGNED 'BLED À PARIS', CIRCA 1820 1830
The white enamel Roman dial with blued steel hands and a foliate cast ormolu bezel, the substatial movement with circular brass plates and four-back-pinned pillars, twin spring barrels, pinwheel escapement and high quality nine rod gridiron pendulum with knife-edge suspension, countwheel strike on a bell on the backplate signed 'BLED À PARIS', the case with detachable stepped top, sliding front and rear glasses, four columns supported on a rectangular base.
