The rectangular white marble top with three-quarter pireced gallery above three short panelled drawers and the roll-top enclosing a sliding brown leather-lined writing-surface, three short drawers and three probably later blue paper lidded document boxes, flanked to each side by writing-slides, above the central frieze-drawer and knee-hole flanked by two short and one deep drawer with coffre-fort and inserted compartmented tray the sides, on fluted turned tapering legs terminating in caps
