Fossil Bute Member, Green River Formation, Wyoming, USA, Lower Eocene epoch, Upper Wasatchian (54-50 myo), in the original matrix with concentric "ripple" marks caused by receding water, the specimen -- 65cm. (25 5/8in.) long in an oak frame -- 110 x 72cm. (43¼ x 28 3/8in.)
