one with an ivory plaque on the lid for SIKE'S HYDROMETER BY JOSH LONG LITTLE TOWER STREET LONDON , the bulb stamped 10814, with ten weights each stamped JL and 18188, ivory-mounted thermometer signed LOFTUS 321 OXFORD ST London and two fruitwood proof slide rules, the silk and plush-lined mahogany case with boxwood stringing and two brass hooks and eyes -- 24.8cm. (9¾in.) wide; the second with two ivory plaques on the lid for SIKES HYDROMETER ARONSBERG & CO 39 CASTLE ST LIVERPOOL and RE-ADJUSTED BY W. REEVES & Co 26 MINORIES LONDON.E.C. , the bulb stamped SIKES 34906, with ten weights, each stamped 34906, and an ivory-mounted thermometer stamped L. CASARTELLI 20 DUKE ST LIVERPOOL , in a plush and silk-lined mahogany case (end piece missing) -- 23cm. (9in.) wide; the third with an ivory plaque for SIKES' HYDROMETER T. O. BLAKE 57 HATTON GARDEN LONDON, ENG., the bulb and twelve weights stamped No 57597 , with an ivory mounted thermometer, also by Blake, in a silk and plush-lined mahogany case -- 20.6cm.
