with blue lashed sleeping eyes, short blonde wig, pierced ears and jointed body, dressed as a wounded Scottish soldier with decorations, kilt, glengary and spats --17in. (43cm.) high

Provenance
Dressed as Charles Hayden Coffin 1862-1935 in his music hall sketch 'Nobby V.C.', written for him by Daisy McGeog, which was produced at the Oxford Music Hall in September 1913. The doll was dressed by his daughter.
