Early 19th Century
The first with 9in. barrel, flat border-engraved lock stamped 'GR' crowned and 'Tower', walnut stock boldly stamped 'I.M' opposite the lock and fitted with a brass reinforce over the ramrod aperture (a working addition), regulation mounts including trigger-guard incised with Yeomanry cavalry marks, and stirrup ramrod; the second with 4½in. sighted barrel, bevelled lock stamped 'GR' crowned and inscribed 'Tower', walnut stock, regulation mounts, and stirrup ramrod (the barrel with light pitting, safety-catch replaced)
