Of shield-shape, the tall flaring neck enriched with entwined gilt ribbons, the underside polychrome shaded, the body finely painted front and back with rich ribbon-tied garlands including lilacs, peonies, daffodils, stock, convolvulus, sweet william and other garden flowers, flanked by ormolu Bacchic satyr-mask handles suspending pendant bouquets and boughs of berried vine, the socle enriched with linked flowerheads above stiff-leaf tips
