An Empire style ormolu-mounted mahogany side cabinet
Late 19th Century
The arched pediment with a Zodiac roundel centred by an enamelled dial with Roman chapters and twin-train movement, the frieze applied with classical masks and ribbon-hung floral swags, above a conforming case with anthemia frieze over a central cupboard door centred by a nymph within a lozenge, opening to three adjustable shelves, the angles with sphinx monopodia pilasters, the sides with similar lozenges centred by lyres, on a plinth base with bun feet
