The architectural superstructure set with two cupboard doors carved Renaissance ladies, opening to a single adjustable shelf, above three drawers, the lower section with two short drawers above two further doors carved with religious figures, opening to an adjustable shelf, on pad feet, the exterior and two doors inscribed SAUVREZY

Lot Essay

Auguste-Hippolyte Sauvrezy exhibited at the Expositions Universelles in 1855, 1867 and 1878. He was awarded a Médaille d'Or at the latter.
