UNDERGLAZE BLUE ENCIRCLED CHENGHUA SIX-CHARACTER MARK, KANGXI (1662-1722)
Finely and boldly decorated at the centre with a similar scene to the previous lot, but with a large butterfly in flight below the moon, the band at the border with four cartouches enclosing iron-red and green ruyi-shaped motifs alternating with similarly-coloured flower heads reserved on a seeded green ground with black small scrolls and foliage, the reverse undecorated
10¾ in. (27.3 cm.) diam.
