Round, with slightly tapering body on gilt foot, the body decorated with gilt scrolls on pale blue and white ground, the center of each side decorated with the crowned monogram of Grand Duke Alexander, marked with the underglaze blue crowned monogram of Nicholas I

Lot Essay

This service was created for the Farm Palace in Alexandria Park in Peterhof. All pieces of the service are decorated with the monogram of the heir to the throne, Grand Duke Alexander.
