EDO PERIOD (1603-1867)
Covered in a green-brown glaze and freely carved with flowerheads and leaves below an overlapping petal band to the shoulder; a Kyo-yaki type double gourd vase painted in vivid colours with leafy branches; a Karatsu bottle vase with short neck covered in a pale crackled glaze turning to dark brown around the shoulder and neck; and another bottle vase with similar glaze decoration (small chip to base of Seto vase)
