The brass chain fusée movement with Earnshaw escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance with four cylindrical heat compensation weights stamped RGG in a triangle for Richard Griesbach, free sprung regulator, polished white metal helical balance spring, the silvered dial with black painted Arabic numerals, two subsidiary dials indicating 58 hours power reserve and constant seconds, in gilt bowl with gilt screw bezel, gimballed in two-tier lacquered mahogany box containing a gilt key and with glazed aperture in the top, set with a metal plaque signed Chronometerwerke Wempe Hamburg No. 6843, movement plates stamped 43, dial signed and numbered
