Lot Essay

The Coussin model was part of a new design approach taken by Cartier during the early 1970s. Many celebrated and today legendary models such as the Gondole, Square and Ceinture were re-introduced and available in gents' and ladies' sizes.

Examples in white gold, such as the present gents' Coussin model, are exceedingly rare.
