Cal. 505 copper-finished lever movement, 24 jewels, the pink gold dial with applied rectangular-shaped numerals, pink gold dauphine hands, sweep centre seconds, centred by a circular polychrome cloisonné enamel scene depicting the dome of the Geneva Observatory and a starry sky, in circular water-resistant-type case with extended lugs, snap on back centred by a raised cartouche with the gold reproduction of the dial, associated 18K pink gold link bracelet, case, dial and movement signed
35 mm. diam.

Lot Essay

Accompanied by Omega original fitted red leather presentation box and outer cardboard packaging.

According to the Archives of the Omega Museum, the present watch with special massive gold dial decorated with a hand-made cloisonné enamel scene depicting the dome of the Geneva Observatory, gold numerals and hands was manufactured in 1958 upon special order and sold to the Omega agent in Kuwait on 15 January 1959.
