A FINE OFFERING OF RENE LALIQUE WINE DECANTERS AND OTHER ACCOUTREMENTS

Property of a passionate wine collector and Lalique connoisseur

RENE LALIQUE (1860-1945)

René Lalique was the most talented and prolific designer of glass during the 20th century. Beginning primarily as a jewelry designer, he first crafted glass into works of art on a small scale and then pursued larger industrial production, which brought his exquisite designs to a broader audience. Lalique achieved world fame during his lifetime and earned countless awards and accolades. His genius spanned the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods, and his designs for glass vases, perfume bottles, car mascots, jewelry and wine accoutrements are highly collectible today.
