Levels: two top, three upper, five upper/mid and two mid shoulder; bin soiled labels, three lightly torn labels, one lightly torn corroded capsule
A developed colour. A spicy and somewhat smoky nose. Still lots of fruit - prunes steeped in rum, warm and harmonious, delicate palate with exceptional balance. A lacy feeling in the mouth - by no means a blockbuster - but a fabulous rich wine now full of finesse. February 2003. RB.
