THE PORCELAIN CIRCA 1730, SOME OF THE DECORATION PERHAPS SLIGHTLY LATER, PURPLE CROSSED SWORDS MARK AND DREHER'S X
Of tapering flared form with bulbous base and ear-shaped scroll handle, the spout with gadrooned pendant terminal, painted with sprays of indianische Blumen and panels of figures on quaysides before ships in purpurmalerei enclosed by palm fronds, trellis-pattern, shells, scrolls and foliage, the domed cover with similar panels and bulbous knop with a stylised iron-red flowerhead (slight chip to tip of spout)
