The exterior of the cup reserved with an estuary scene of a figure with a wheelbarrow, a rider and attendant, within an elongated brown and gilt line shaped quatrefoil cartouche issuing gilt scrolls, the cup and saucer painted to the interior with figures by a harbour, within iron-red concentric circles, the handle of the cup with trailing flowers below gilt foliage, gilt line rims (very minor rubbing to rim and lower terminal of handle)
