A FINE PAIR OF WUCAI 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' BOWLS
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)

Each painted on the exterior with a continuous scene of an iron-red and green dragon in mutual pursuit of 'flaming pearls', amidst leafy flower sprays divided by a pair of descending phoenix, all below a narrow band of bajixiang alternating with ruyi-heads below the rim, the interior with a leaping dragon and 'flaming pearl' roundel
