Designed as seven string instruments and a drum, set with vari-shaped jadeite of emerald green, green, russet, yellow and celadon colours, with diamond and gem-set details; the group composed of :
1) yue qin or moon-shaped lute pendant;
2) pi pa or four-stringed lute brooch;
3) ma tou qin or morin khur pendant/brooch;
4) qin qin or ancient moon-shaped lute brooch;
5) shou gu or drum pendant;
6) shou qin or harp brooch;
7) shou qin or harp brooch; and
8) gu qin or zither pendant/brooch;
all mounted in yellow, white or oxidised white gold, largest jadeite hoop approximately 44.38 x 8.66 x 13.80 mm, in a brown wooden box
With four certificates dated 9 September 2005 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the plaques and hoops tested are natural jadeite and no polymer is detected
