Title and 458 leaves including four full-page woodcuts of the Evangelists [Siderov 83, 75, 89, 77], woodcut initials, headpieces and ornaments, head-lines and instructions printed in red (lightly soiled and dampstained with candlewax from use, some tears occasionally with loss of text, a few crude repairs). 19th-century velvet over old wooden boards, the upper cover with an 18th-century repoussé and engraved silvered plaque of the Resurrection with the Evangelists at the corners, lower cover with centrepiece with the emblem of the Crucifixion and button cornerpieces (slightly worn, restitched with margins trimmed, lacking clasps), edges gauffered and gilt (minor burn mark on upper margin).
