of baluster form, painted in colours with Oriental figures, one panel with two ladies and a manin an exterior, the reverse with a man holding a necklace standing before a lady holding a fan on a geometric pattern ground reserved with monochrone cartouches of buildings on islands, the cover with similar ornament -- 10¼in. (26.1cm.) high, circa 1785 (chip to rim, some wear, firing faults and discolouration to enamels)
