A PAIR OF FRENCH PROVINCIAL WALNUT AND NEEDLEWORK FAUTEUILS
19th Century, possibly Swiss, the needlework early 18th century
Each with padded rectangular back and seat covered in gros and petit point needlework depicting classically draped figures representative of the seasons within scrolling foliate borders, the arms with chanelled edges, on baluster turned and faceted legs joined by shaped stretchers and terminating in turned feet (2)
