dial signed Hamilton Lancaster PA., U.S.A., nickel plated movement numbered 2F 14288, jewelled to the centre and inscribed Hamilton Watch Co., Model 22-21 Jewels Adj. to Temp and 6 Pos. Made in U.S.A., U.S. Navy-Bu. Ships 1942, lever escapement, uncut bi-axial thermal expansion balance wheel, Elinvar-Extra flat balance spring with Breguet overcoil, index arm with cam adjustment, brass counter-weighted bowl inscribed MTD Watch Bureau of Ships, U.S. Navy, (N)2362-1942, gimballed in plain three-tier mahogany box with maker's label to front of bottom section -- 6in. (15cm.) square
