Two-tier box with glazed top, brass bowl and gimbal, 10 cm. diameter silvered Arabic dial with 56-hour up/down ring, signed Thomas Mercer/26941/THOMAS MERCER LTD. ST ALBANS, ENGLAND, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands, chain fusee with Earnshaw type escapement, cut bimetallic balance with helical balance spring, the box -- 7¼in. (18.5 cm.) square; with associated outer plush-lined travelling box with label for Hamilton Watch CO. to front.
