When he opened his first atelier in 1953 he created very popular enamel and gem-set pendants of marionettes, butterflies and baskets. In 1975, due to his great success he was able to open another shop in Capri, in addition to his location in the prestigious Via del Corso in Rome.

Each elephant resting its forelegs on a ball, with ivory tusks, ruby eyes and jadeite caps, one set with lapis lazuli and with rock crystal ball, 24.5 cm high; the other set with coral and with red marble ball, 27.5 cm high (illustration reduced)
