The waisted case with glazed side panels, brass marquetry inlays to rear door, the cast ormolu dial with individual white enamel Roman cartouche chapters, enamel centre signed DUROCHÉ/APARIS, blued steel hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with rectangular plates joined by five vase-shaped pillars, now with silk suspended anchor escapement, with calibrated countwheel strike, the back plate with repeat signature; on matching wall bracket -- 52 in.
