The case with broken arch pediment and brass acorn finial, with thumb-nail mouldings to the trunk and turned hemispherical cistern cover, brass-capped exposed tube, with glazed door to silvered plate signed W. Hawkes Grice/Successor to Fraser/Bond Street London, with mercury thermometer and sliding Vernier scale -- 39¼ in. (100 cm.) high
