The plain hoop flat on the interior, ridged on the exterior, with a thin openwork bezel extension cast in the form of a civic goddess standing within an aedicula, draped in a tunic and mantle, holding a standard in her right hand, a cornucopia in the crook of her left arm

Lot Essay
