NEW KINGDOM, DYNASTY XVIII, REIGN OF AKHENATEN, 1553-1535 B.C.
Sculpted in shallow sunk relief with the head of a royal, perhaps the Pharaoh Akhenaten in profile to the right, wearing a short Nubian wig, with characteristic, narrow slanting eye, long nose, thick lips and hanging chin
4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) long
