From a reclining female figure, the lyre-shaped head tapering to the rounded chin, flaring out at the forehead, the long semi-conical nose prominently situated just below the center of the face, on a long flaring neck

Lot Essay

Perhaps by the prolific Goulandris Sculptor. Note the long semi-conical nose, the flaring arch of the forehead and the long neck. See pl. 71ff. in Getz-Gentle, Personal Styles in Early Cycladic Sculpture.
