ATTRIBUTED TO THE COCK GROUP, CIRCA EARLY 5TH CENTURY B.C.
With Athena attacking a warrior, perhaps a Giant, the goddess running to the right, wielding a spear in her raised right hand, wearing her snakey aegis over a long chiton and a high-crested helmet, the warrior also running to the right but looking back, carrying a spear and a circular shield with two circles as the blazon, clad in a patterned chiton and a tall crested helmet, two draped onlookers flanking the scene, a vine in the field; a cock and two ivy leaves on the shoulders, details in added red and white
