The youthful god of love depicted with his characteristic central plait across the crown of his head, his wavy hair radiating and curling inward at the ends along his forehead, his oval face with a pointed chin, the small closed mouth with sensuous fleshy lips, the lidded unarticulated eyes under softly arching brows, the head turned acutely to the left on his curving neck
